Know what every breaker does
Map every outlet, switch, and light to a breaker — then print labels anyone can scan in an emergency.
How a mapping session works
- List the devices — every outlet, switch, and light, room by room. Quick-add works while mapping if you missed one.
- Flip one breaker OFF. Plug a lamp or tester into an outlet first so you can see what went dead.
- Walk the building and enter that breaker's panel + number on each dead device in Map Circuits (Enter saves and advances).
- Restore the breaker, repeat until nothing is left unidentified.
- Print QR stickers for the devices and a directory card to tape inside each panel door.

Tracing tip
For switches and lights, have a helper flip each one while you watch the panel. A breaker finder also works. Circuit # is the first breaker space only (a 2-pole breaker on 30 and 32 is just 30; the app fills in the second space). If it isn’t on any breaker, tick Not on a breaker / unknown.
The summary lists circuits you identified this session. The worksheet is the clipboard version: rooms in walking order, a tick box per device, and a QR that opens that device on your phone. Enter saves & advances · ← → moves · ? shortcuts.

Backup and restore
Backup (export / import)
Download the whole inventory (devices, panels, organization details) as a JSON file, or restore one. Restoring replaces this device's data and pushes it to the whole organization. Keep a copy somewhere safe — the organization's history only holds recent saves.
Revision history
The server keeps the last 20 saves. Restoring publishes the chosen revision as a new save — nothing is lost, and you can restore right back.

Organization details
Name, address, and logo appear on printed panel directories, worksheets, and mapping summaries — useful for rental properties, job sites, or a small business.
Anyone who scans a printed label can see this. Use a building or maintenance number — not a personal cell — if that matters to you.
PNG / JPG / SVG. Large photos are shrunk automatically. The preview shows right away; Save organization details keeps it with the rest.

Device label sheet
Each sticker shows the device, room, breaker, and a QR that opens that one device’s read-only shutoff page on any phone (the QR also carries the breaker in readable text for phones with no signal). Real emergency labels need an organization — without one you get clearly stamped DEMO sample labels that open a demo page. Load Avery 5163 (2" × 4", 10/sheet) or Avery 5160 (1" × 2⅝", 30/sheet) and press Print — the layout matches the die-cuts on Letter paper. No Avery sheets? Print on plain paper and tape them on.
